The government grossly exaggerates the amount of lives that have been 'saved'.
Thousands of helicopters in Iraq to ensure a bogus constitution is made, and we can't even spare a few to save thousands of lives in our own country?
Where are all the Louisiana troops to help?
FEMA, the organization which is supposed to deal with natural disasters like this, is disappearing. At least, the part of them that helps people.
Typical Bush strategy, Step 1: Deny, Step 2: minimize, Step 3: blame victims or claim they are being helped, if a step 4 is needed, blame someone else and kill them (or some other distraction until the topic becomes so watered down no one cares anymore)
What is the history of the cuts to flood funding? Who's at fault? Is the government using the disaster as an excuse to take control of the city of New Orleans to prepare for the military control of the whole country?
