Guns
In full disclosure, I'm not necessarily against guns, only against people who can not have reasonable discussions about guns without resorting to spewing out ingrained cliches and avoiding actual thinking. More on that soon in Original Rants of Wisdom. We are debating whether or not to have a section dedicated to all the deaths that would have most likely been prevented without guns in america. The 2nd has been destroyed long ago and the NRA is largely comprised of bullying idiots.
While I still believe the world would be a better place without any guns, still detest the NRA, still detest those who hunt for sport, still detest those who hide behind the 2nd who have no intention of actually utilizing their guns in the way the 2nd wants them to, I do know the government is trying to limit guns for their OWN control, not our safety.
Here is a segement from a friend's rant who lives in Chicago were handguns are illegal but now the cops are getting assault rifles:
"I'm not even allowed to own a pistol to protect myself from the very same gangsters the police are obviously SO afraid of, so why do the cops need M4's?..... what if the police are STILL afraid of the gang-bangers once they have M4s? will we buy them rocket launchers? tanks?"

****Many states including mine are trying to have ammo tagged and coded
Any of you who supports the NRA should think twice. They are part of the problem. Like unions, who used to be good and useful and instead the leaders became part of the "in" crowd, screwing over the masses for their own gain.
The NRA doesn't protect the second at all. They only serve to stem more divide and conquer tactics. They don't fight to get the unconstitutional licensing and fingerprinting and permits abolished. They do nothing to overturn the bans on other non-gun weapons AT ALL. In fact they barely do anything for gun rights, they merely perpetuate the argument as long as possible for their own benefit to make as much money as possible.
With over 30,000 gun laws on the books in America, the NRA has successfully reversed 2 (partially) pieces of gun legislation. I would give you the batting average of that ratio, but my calculator only goes to the 6th negative decimal. Having a membership of 3.5 MILLION, 550 employees, hundreds of thousands of volunteers and an annual budget of over $120 MILLION...based on their track record...I CALL THAT FRAUD!
Give me $120 million and I will gladly produce an equally dismal record from my pimp beach house in Hawaii.
The NRA not only compromises, but they help write almost every piece of anti-gun legislation, just to generate donations.
You are a pawn if you are part of the NRA.
An open letter to Michael Savage. (who is just another contentious mouthpiece anyway, but it's a decent letter)
