Mentality of a neo-con

last modified 2008-07-03 09:07

Videos and Excerpts taken from essays describing the psychology of people in power

********The first part of this video is a must see as it explains the rise of neo-cons and their admitted hardcore Straussian beliefs.  Admitted proof that neo-cons want to take away our individual rights our country was founded on as "individual freedom causes chaos." They want a united shared mentality and believe lying to the masses is okay. To achieve this they believe in always creating a good vs evil scenario with a healthy dose of mass fear. SOUND FAMILIAR!  To maintain power, they must always have a new nightmare around the corner. They also mobilizied the previously non-political christian religion to suit their goals. (!!Be sure to check out high level neo-con Kristol's statement at the 35-36minute mark!!!)          These videos also show examples of neo-cons saying terrorist groups were under Russia's control while CIA said no that's BS. SOUND FAMILIAR! Tells how the CIA invented Al-Qaieda up and more myths about the soviet union and "bad guys."         This video also has a terrific interview with a former neo-con agent David Brock saying they engaged in "political terrorism"and how disgusted he is of his past neo-con life.  Also in these 3 videos: how neo-cons and radical islamics are so much alike, rise of Bin Laden thanks to america, media lies such as their being international organized super terrorism groups and underground fortresses, other unbeliveable BS conspiracy lies by the government on supposed terrorist cells and innocent tourists being accused of terrorism, propaganda and lies about the "dirty bomb."         This video is way too black and white in some instances, but definitely gives you one part of the whole story. (The good vs evil propaganda has also been used by Israel allowing them certain control over us)

****This is an amazing video to me.  It shows a snippet of an interview with Dick Cheney back in '94.  His position with Iraq is completely different.  Now, I know people change their minds, but usually not this drastically (as an adult) and not while completely ignoring and dismissing your past viewpoint in such black and white terms.  Also I noticed his cadence, his tone, and his mannerisms were completely different!!  They were real!  What happened?  Money? Drugs? Power?

******Simple flowchart of the world criminals and sexual pervets and how they are connected with the criminal enterprises. Go here for the rest of his flow chart vids.

*******Very Interesting video highlighting some disturbing LAW defintions and rulings as well as everyday symbols and what they mean (the gold fringed USA flag for one) and here is Jordan Maxwell going more in depth on the England aspect

ED MAYS WRITES:

"I can recall very few conservatives that you could actually sit down and have a rational conversation with without running into a brick wall of denial at some point or other. This goes for paleo-cons, neo-cons, bigot-cons, John Birch-cons, Jingoist-cons, fundamentalist-cons and any other kind of cons you can think of. Come to think of it, the length of time it takes to reach that point may actually be a good yardstick for gauging their capacity to perceive reality.

What's really striking is that if you press the matter, it often becomes apparent that their purpose for engaging in conversation is not the same as yours. Their focus is not on discovering the truth but on protecting and shoring up their own beliefs. This can be very frustrating when it dawns on you that they really are not interested in finding out if you are right or not. It puts them in a conundrum because to admit this to themselves would be to face the fact that they don't have a grip. They seem to be able to sidestep this inconvenient item quite nimbly -that is unless you point it out. Conservatives do not tend to be truth seekers. They like to accuse you of being as thick as they are but that's just projection. They're big on that.

Faith based reality has everything to do with ideology and nothing to do with reality. Sorry, there can only be one reality. Basically, for liberals, beliefs don't trump facts and for conservatives facts don't matter. Suffice it to say that conservatives trend toward deficiency in the rational thought department. The knowledge that there is scientific evidence that conservatives, especially neo-cons are authoritarians, and that a large portion of them are that way not because of some legitimate philosophical point of view but more likely because of a twisted psychological make up is useful knowledge indeed. Viewed in this light the conservative ideology going all the way back to Edmond Burke can be seen for what it really is: the overactive musings of quivering, socially stunted, half witted assholes in need of some sort of orthodoxy to justify their naked agenda to dominate the rest of us and protect their power and privilege."

*****These BBC videos show how corporations and the ruling elite employeed Freud (and Freud's Nephew) psychology to trick the masses into buying products---starting way back in the '20s. These early PR masterminds turned irrational concepts into conventional "wisdom." Also delves into the mind of current leaders who believe the masses are fundamentally irrational and shouldn't have a say in how things are run.  They also believe that the masses (but not them of course!) benefit from Conformity which=Increased Ego=More Mental Health=The ability to stay away from our darker impulses.  Explains how we were turned into consumer whores and how corporations and the ruling elite manipulated our fears into war support. They have reshaped reality and have engineered our consent.  Also touches on CIA secret experiments on brainwashing.
