(terrific article, though I think he makes too big of a deal that current "President" Bush's parents were cousins..they were fourth cousins....although, I have known children of distant cousins and in some cases they honestly do seem to carry some handicapped genes.  Maybe the common idea that it is okay to procreate with your 3rd cousin and beyond is wrong)
