Purposeful (IMO) Failures

last modified 2008-09-11 09:42

"When Saddam ran things, Iraq had hospitals, schools and a welfare program for the poor. These are not what America stands for. We want poor people with no health care. We want substandard education. We want university costs to be so high that only aristocrats can graduate without being in debt. We want people who have billion$ to have trillion$. This is the USA I live in and this is what George Bush and Dick Cheney want for Iraq."

**The perpetual propaganda by US officials and the worsening of the Iraqi masses...US justifies an artillery barrage in a "bad" neighborhood...which is still a neighborhood ("Reminicent of the observation made by an Army Colonel at the time of the capture and subsequent destruction of the Vietnamese village Ben Tre during the war in Viet Nam: "We had to destroy the city in order to save it."")

****Afghan farmers earned about $1 billion from opium production in 2007 (Haha no.  The farmers aren't rich.  Read the first comment.  It recommends a couple books if you want to follow the money trail)

**The previously hailed "success story" of Basra is now falling apart

**Iraqi government boycotting and unraveling

***A new record: 101 US Soldier deaths in Afghanistan 2008

****US gave green light for Taliban attack and other US false flags bolstering the "other side" for their own twisted gain

****United States is holding hostage some $50 billion of Iraq's money in the Federal Reserve Bank of New York to pressure the Iraqi government into signing an agreement to prolong the US occupation indefinitely.

**While the second political assassination in Iraq in a week takes place, the Iraqi PM is meeting with Syrian leaders to discuss the number of Iraqi refugees in Syria (Think too many Mexicans illegally cross the borders now?  Imagine some other country attacked them...the number of illegal immigrants would skyrocket definitely causing a problem...and how would you feel about the country that attacked Mexico causing this in the first place?)

*Bush says Iraqi insurgents are the same as those who attacked us on 9/11, while our troops were attacked by Iraqi policemen that we armed

*****The US embassy being built in Iraq just had its plans leaked online...check out the specs....see what your tax dollars are being used for, see how the real US agenda was/is to stay in Iraq permanently!  Swimming pools, malls, cinema, schools, over 100 acres!

****Oops!  $700 million embassy has all sorts of construction problems.  The US government won't fire their friends, plus I'm sure there was no contract clause for faulty work.  Meaning: much more work for these illegal corporations that us taxpayers will have to shell out the cash for.

**July '07: "Al-Qaieda" just as strong as it was before 9/11

****Like I knew all along, regardless of Rumsfeld's "I doubt [we'll be in Iraq for] two months", Bush and Co. say they could be in Iraq for 50 years  Here is the video from CNN

******The Bush Administration is Financing Iran's Nuclear Development Program Through Russia! U.S. taxpayers are subsidizing Iran's nuclear development program and it is not headline news?!?!

*****Opium production in Afghanistan soaring out of control and coming over here ("When the Taliban was in charge of Afghanistan, the opium trade was all but gone. Growers and dealers faced the death penalty. Now the US Government is in Afghanistan; a government which purports to oppose drug use, indeed strips away many of our civil rights under the aegis of a 'war on drugs', yet somehow the conquered poppy fields of Afghanistan are doing a booming business and their product floods the streets of America. Go figure.")

Mission Accomplished!  State of Emergency declared in Basra

*Government has lost control of Basra

****U.S. intelligence agencies warned the Bush administration in early 2003 that invading Iraq could create internal conflict that would give Iran and al Qaeda new opportunities to expand their influence, according to an upcoming Senate report. (The excuse that they couldn't have forseen this happening is just that--an excuse, and a lie.  Just like Katrina.  They knew exactly what would happen, this was their goal all along.  The proof is in their pockets and in the amount of control they have)

**Video showing strong evidence of Israel (or British using Israeli weapons) are shooting US soldiers in Iraq

****More evidence that Israeli soldiers purposely shot US soldiers

****Col. Jack Jacobs on corporate media says that the administration probably has a secret agenda in Iraq!

*This short op-ed compares Gen. Petraeus's situation in Baghdad to Gen. Sir William Howe in Phili during the American Revolution

**Bush is quietly doubling the troop surge even though a top General says it is not needed.  Others are getting redeployed again.

***Iraqi Lawmakers want U.S. Withdrawal! (So do their citizens, so do americans, so do europeans...an overwhelming majority want US out of Iraq, and yet they stay)

*Veteran and Former senator Max Cleland says Bush and Cheney see Iraq as a 51st state. (Which is one of the true goals)

**Nobody really knows how much crude oil is being stolen by corrupt Iraqi and U.S. officials because, four years after the invasion, the oil meters haven't been fixed.

Bush's "report card" since "mission accomplished"

In the past six months, the rate of Americans killed in Iraq has reached its highest level ever, despite four years of fighting

***Another hypocritical manoeuver: Bush now looking for a War Czar to be the scapegoat for the war; so far, everyone is saying "No thanks"

*More marketplace bombings, over 150 deaths...many Iraqis are blaming the Americans

*"They'll wave at us during the day and shoot at us during the night," said 1st Lt. Dan Quinn, a platoon leader in the Army's 1st Infantry Division. "People (in America) think it's bad, but that we control the city. That's not the way it is. They control it, and they let us drive around. It's hostile territory."

**Current General, General Brooks, tells as of June 2007, how Iraq continues to gets worse

**Why the 'big push' sounds horribly familiar--a historic look at other war's "big push"es and other similarities with the current Iraq War and past wars

**From April 2006, Syrian intelligence says US are trying to start a Civil War in Iraq and have been behind many of the car bombs

**US Forces support Afghan Narcotics (heroin) Trade: Multibillion dollar earnings for organized crime and Western financial Institutions

****Greg Palast (with the help of some mis-sent Rove e-mails) reports on some of their vote fraud techniques, inside info on the attorney firings, and how they are limiting the supply of oil to keep the prices high to make even more MILLIONS, I mean BILLIONS,  I mean soon to be TRILLIONS.  Here is a portion of his video interview on Democracy Now.

CIA fails to finish new intelligence assessment on Iraq as requested by the Senate

***They call the Iraqi police force failures??  Kinda hard to "protect and serve" in a violent area without any weapons!!: Give us guns – and troops can go, says Iraqi leader

***Bush's plan for Iraq outlined here (is he delusional, or are the powers that be convincing him to turn Iraq into an american colony?)

Again: We are NOT losing in Iraq; everything (well most everything) is going according to plan

**Victory has been acheived in Iraq, not the goal that they told the public, but the success of (some of their) goals

***Four french soldiers say they had Bin Laden in their sights and were told to hold off by their american superiors (please don't buy the propaganda that they just screwed up....to err on the side of caution would been to have killed him unless there was something else to the equation the american people were not told.)

**This page gives a good arguement suggesting the possibility that Iraq is not in a Civil War but a divide and conquer mission

The War in Iraq, the failure is going as planned; Kissinger's words and what they really meant

***CIA doubts didn't deter Feith's team: Intelligence agencies strongly disagreed with many of its prewar findings.  And the media perpetuated the lies ("The OSP was not an "Intelligence failure", it was a rousing success... for Israeli intelligence, which had a man on the inside, Larry Franklin, who was the end of a pipeline that ran from Ariel Sharon's office, through AIPAC, and right onto Franklin's desk in the Office of Special Plans.")

Some of the latest examples of our leaders knowing next to nothing about the middle east; first one is the Democrats’ New Intelligence Chairman and the next is our very own FBI

Al-Qaeda and Taliban attacks in Afghanistan have increased since Bush started these wars. He is a liar

***As long suspected, UK Telegraph Reveals Brit Terrorist Ops in Iraq: The JSG, a sophistaced unit, the coalition’s secret weapon

Leak of memo depicts more truths about Iraq; Iraqis who are working for the americans are deathly afraid to say so

Terrorism worse since war, Frist ineptly defends his buddies position and evades torture questions with desperate propaganda

**Torture in Iraq is worse now than it was under the regime of Saddam Hussein and "is totally out of hand", according to a United Nations investigator (goooo USA!)

*****Contrary to the lies they tell, Opium production has skyrocketed and the widely hated Taliban is more powerful

Army Warns Rumsfeld It's Billions Short (Iraq funds)

Guardian finds Afghan witnesses US couldn't (is our intelligence that bad? or did we not want to find him?)

****Invading Iraq, then knowingly breaking Geneva Conventions and purposely destroying their water supply

One safe spot in Afghanistan is now not so safe, another war lost (purposely) by the US

**Iraq and Palestine is a war of children, they have suffered the most

****"600,000 DEAD IN IRAQ!" MSNBC 10/11/06 (death toll)

8 min. vid. of soldiers hopelessly trying to train Iraq officers and their contempt of them

More Afghanistan horror stories (you don't think we could stop this if we wanted to? We failed in Afghanistan on purpose.)

Do you really believe the administration had any intention of making Iraq a better place?? The troops that are supposed to take their place are not being taking care of. That seems like something one would do when trying to create a better country

Even deeper into the quagmire

***This USS Cole story reeks of feces and propaganda.  How many examples can you find? And why didn't we attack Yemen if they were harboring terrorists? Well I know the answer, why didn't the idiot public ask this question?

How unprepared, inept their planning, and ill-equipped are our forces on the ground?
