Purposeful (IMO) Failures
"When Saddam ran things, Iraq had hospitals, schools and a welfare program for the poor. These are not what America stands for. We want poor people with no health care. We want substandard education. We want university costs to be so high that only aristocrats can graduate without being in debt. We want people who have billion$ to have trillion$. This is the USA I live in and this is what George Bush and Dick Cheney want for Iraq."
**The perpetual propaganda by US officials and the worsening of the Iraqi masses...US justifies an artillery barrage in a "bad" neighborhood...which is still a neighborhood ("Reminicent of the observation made by an Army Colonel at the time of the capture and subsequent destruction of the Vietnamese village Ben Tre during the war in Viet Nam: "We had to destroy the city in order to save it."")
****Afghan farmers earned about $1 billion from opium production in 2007 (Haha no. The farmers aren't rich. Read the first comment. It recommends a couple books if you want to follow the money trail)
**The previously hailed "success story" of Basra is now falling apart
**Iraqi government boycotting and unraveling
***A new record: 101 US Soldier deaths in Afghanistan 2008
**While the second political assassination in Iraq in a week takes place, the Iraqi PM is meeting with Syrian leaders to discuss the number of Iraqi refugees in Syria (Think too many Mexicans illegally cross the borders now? Imagine some other country attacked them...the number of illegal immigrants would skyrocket definitely causing a problem...and how would you feel about the country that attacked Mexico causing this in the first place?)
*Bush says Iraqi insurgents are the same as those who attacked us on 9/11, while our troops were attacked by Iraqi policemen that we armed
****Oops! $700 million embassy has all sorts of construction problems. The US government won't fire their friends, plus I'm sure there was no contract clause for faulty work. Meaning: much more work for these illegal corporations that us taxpayers will have to shell out the cash for.
**July '07: "Al-Qaieda" just as strong as it was before 9/11
****Like I knew all along, regardless of Rumsfeld's "I doubt [we'll be in Iraq for] two months", Bush and Co. say they could be in Iraq for 50 years Here is the video from CNN
*****Opium production in Afghanistan soaring out of control and coming over here ("When the Taliban was in charge of Afghanistan, the opium trade was all but gone. Growers and dealers faced the death penalty. Now the US Government is in Afghanistan; a government which purports to oppose drug use, indeed strips away many of our civil rights under the aegis of a 'war on drugs', yet somehow the conquered poppy fields of Afghanistan are doing a booming business and their product floods the streets of America. Go figure.")
Mission Accomplished! State of Emergency declared in Basra
*Government has lost control of Basra
****U.S. intelligence agencies warned the Bush administration in early 2003 that invading Iraq could create internal conflict that would give Iran and al Qaeda new opportunities to expand their influence, according to an upcoming Senate report. (The excuse that they couldn't have forseen this happening is just that--an excuse, and a lie. Just like Katrina. They knew exactly what would happen, this was their goal all along. The proof is in their pockets and in the amount of control they have)
****More evidence that Israeli soldiers purposely shot US soldiers
**Bush is quietly doubling the troop surge even though a top General says it is not needed. Others are getting redeployed again.
***Iraqi Lawmakers want U.S. Withdrawal! (So do their citizens, so do americans, so do europeans...an overwhelming majority want US out of Iraq, and yet they stay)
*Veteran and Former senator Max Cleland says Bush and Cheney see Iraq as a 51st state. (Which is one of the true goals)
Bush's "report card" since "mission accomplished"
***Another hypocritical manoeuver: Bush now looking for a War Czar to be the scapegoat for the war; so far, everyone is saying "No thanks"
*More marketplace bombings, over 150 deaths...many Iraqis are blaming the Americans
**Current General, General Brooks, tells as of June 2007, how Iraq continues to gets worse
****Greg Palast (with the help of some mis-sent Rove e-mails) reports on some of their vote fraud techniques, inside info on the attorney firings, and how they are limiting the supply of oil to keep the prices high to make even more MILLIONS, I mean BILLIONS, I mean soon to be TRILLIONS. Here is a portion of his video interview on Democracy Now.
CIA fails to finish new intelligence assessment on Iraq as requested by the Senate
***Bush's plan for Iraq outlined here (is he delusional, or are the powers that be convincing him to turn Iraq into an american colony?)
Again: We are NOT losing in Iraq; everything (well most everything) is going according to plan
***Four french soldiers say they had Bin Laden in their sights and were told to hold off by their american superiors (please don't buy the propaganda that they just screwed up....to err on the side of caution would been to have killed him unless there was something else to the equation the american people were not told.)
The War in Iraq, the failure is going as planned; Kissinger's words and what they really meant
***CIA doubts didn't deter Feith's team: Intelligence agencies strongly disagreed with many of its prewar findings. And the media perpetuated the lies ("The OSP was not an "Intelligence failure", it was a rousing success... for Israeli intelligence, which had a man on the inside, Larry Franklin, who was the end of a pipeline that ran from Ariel Sharon's office, through AIPAC, and right onto Franklin's desk in the Office of Special Plans.")
Some of the latest examples of our leaders knowing next to nothing about the middle east; first one is the Democrats’ New Intelligence Chairman and the next is our very own FBI
U.S. deaths in Iraq, war on terror surpass 9/11 toll (ironic?)
More Republicans calling Bush's policy a failure
**Armitage says US failing in Iraq and Afghanistan
US finishes a strong second in Iraq War
Army Warns Rumsfeld It's Billions Short (Iraq funds)
Guardian finds Afghan witnesses US couldn't (is our intelligence that bad? or did we not want to find him?)
One safe spot in Afghanistan is now not so safe, another war lost (purposely) by the US
**Iraq and Palestine is a war of children, they have suffered the most
****"600,000 DEAD IN IRAQ!" MSNBC 10/11/06 (death toll)
8 min. vid. of soldiers hopelessly trying to train Iraq officers and their contempt of them
More Afghanistan horror stories (you don't think we could stop this if we wanted to? We failed in Afghanistan on purpose.)
How unprepared, inept their planning, and ill-equipped are our forces on the ground?
