Some of what you'll learn: "Lincoln sent 500 people to Liberia that all starved to death because they were dropped off with nothing in a strange land that they did not speak the language etc... In his debates with Douglas, Lincoln made it very clear he did not care about slavery or equality and said he did not believe whites and "negros" were equal. The Civil War was about tariffs, the morill tariff was raised 300% Lincoln's first day in office. SC had threatened to leave the union 40 years earlier for that same tariff being raised 15%. The war was about free trade vs protective tariffs. 80% of the revenue the Federal government got was from tariffs but it was all spent up North. The South exported over half of the WORLD'S cotton at the time and the moril tariff targeted cotton, tobacco and rice. Manufactured goods from the north did not have to pay a tariff. Ft. Sumter the first place the south bombed was a tariff collection agency. How this war became all about slavery is a 20th century phenomenon. We are lied to in school about everything. Columbus, Gaza, the Civil War which wasn't even called that until the 1900's (war between the states)." Pretty much everything we learn about history in school is a lie.
